I've developed acne almost overnight about 15 years ago. Been searching for answers and treatments since. I know my issue is internal/gut as I can see flares after I eat certain foods. So I've seen some improvements with dietary changes, but even on an extreme elimination diet, some acne/rosacea remained. Just recently, about a month and half ago, I started to use a sulphur soap based on the recommendations and success stories here. Within two days, my skin was a lot calmer and breakouts were reduced 95%. I follow the face wash with an ozonated jojoba oil cream as frequent use of the soap has been drying. Currently I've reduced the use of the soap to once every other day and the skin has remained pretty clear. I'm planning to start a more targeted internal cleanse as well to get to the root cause of this.

SULFUR SOAP for (azufre) for acne rosacea, and many other specialy/medicinal/herbal soaps are available at most Mexican Stores, and very reasonably priced @1.00 per bar.

Helpful Hint: The bar lasts much longer if you take it out of the box/package and let it "air dry" and harden for a few days before using it; and it lasts alot longer if you keep it dry after using it (i. E not in a damp area of the bathroom). Once it is hardened I just dry it off and put it back in the box it came in. I keep all my "special" soaps in an open weave basket near the window (on the window sill in winter) and they last 10 times longer than the soaps left in the shower stall.

Ok, so I went out and bought sulfur soap. It has been used to treat scabbies for YEARS. It is also a treatment for rosacea. I have been using it day and night for 3 days. I have SEVERE rosacea, and so far it has lessened it by HALF. Most all of the swelling is gone. My nose used to remind me of WC Fields, it is now returning to normal, and the redness has diminished considerably. I still use tea tree oil after i wash my face with soap. I will try to get some sulfur ointment, the pharmacist told me you can only get it with a prescription because it has to be mixed. I will see about maybe a health store. I really hope you try this. If rosacea is due to mites in the skin, sulfur kills them, thats why they use it for scabbies. I will keep you all updated.
